My journey with Emily and Todd has been so very fun! When I met them they were modeling for a styled shoot I was filming with a team of other super talented artists. I fell in love with them–their upbeat, go with the flow, fun-loving attitudes and immediately started imagining what their wedding film would look like. I’m so lucky and honored that they asked me to be their filmmaker after that experience!
So we met, and they told me their love story and about who they are and what they love to do. I had so many ideas popping up in my mind and together we made some really fun plans over the year leading up to their wedding. I even got to film a little engagement story with them at their family’s ranch! Every time I got to hang out or talk with them over those months I just wanted to see them more! So I sort of invited myself to their rehearsal dinner, and boy am I glad I did! The speeches from their family and friends were hands-down amazing. It was plain to see the amount of love and support for these two. I include myself in saying our excitement for their wedding was bursting at the seams!
Their wedding day was held jointly at Bellewood Plantation and First Baptist Church in downtown Vero. It was a gorgeous day, not too hot, but it was raining. And not a fun kind of rain… the drizzly, grey sky, won’t soak you but it’ll annoy you kind of rain. Todd and Emily weren’t phased in the least. That just added a whole new level of awesome to their file. So we ran with it–and with ALL of the portraits outside, we made the most of it and truly had a blast capturing every little nuance of their love.
These two have so much to look forward to on the journey ahead, and literally everything they do is epic and impressive. I’m grateful and count my blessings I can name them among my friends. There are no two finer people you can ever hope to meet, and wow–they are TOGETHER!!! Like… Forever!!
Congratulations, Emily & Todd! We all love you to the moon and can’t wait to see what life has in store for you both! Cheers!
